Responsibilities

• Cleaning of room and bathroom according to the set standards and instructions established.
• Checking of linen quality and control damage linen.
• Ensure proper usage of chemicals, cleaning equipment and materials.
• To check all electrical devices and lighting in guestrooms. Report all defects to Engineering department.
• Make up bed and turn down according to standards set.
• Shoe shining service to extend to guest upon request.
• Maintain cleanliness of the corridors and hallways.
• To keep pantry on respective floor clean and tidy.
•  Ensure all equipment, supplies and linen in pantry are well maintained and stock according to par level.
• Maintain a high level of guest service and ensure rapid and professional response to all guest requests.
• Reports any maintenance deficiencies in the Guestrooms
• Must be aware of room status and to report all discrepancies in room status.
• Ensure all Lost and Found items are turned in to the Housekeeping Office according to established procedures.

   

  Requirements

  • Able to speak basic English
  • Physically healthy
  • Pleasant disposition
  •  Previous experience in cleaning job will be preferred
