Sari Pan Pacific Earth Hour 2010

Saturday, March 27, 2010, Sari Pan Pacific Jakarta turning off all lights in almost all parts of the hotel. This year, the 33 years old hotel, participate in global program Earth Hour 2010 . The program, initiated by WWF (World Wildlife Fund) is an annual international program held every last Saturday in March, which suggesting housing and offices area to turn off unnecessary lights and electrical appliances for one hour to as a way of saving the earth. Initiated by WWF Australia and the Sydney Morning Herald in 2007 and obtained the participation of the world in 2008.
Sari Pan Pacific Jakarta's participation in Earth Hour 2010 program was initiated by streets campaign on March 26, 2010. Performed right on Jl. M.H. Thamrin (Sarinah crossroad), conducted by Brand Champion Team, a team consisting of a number of employees and act as the ambassador of Sari Pan Pacific Jakarta, handing out stickers, pins, and candles, which contain a message suggesting for the public to participate in Earth Hour. Resumed on March 27, 2010, by turning all the lights in almost all parts of Sari Pan Pacific Jakarta starts at 20:30 pm until 21:30 pm.
