A Greener Christmas at Pan Pacific Manila
Published Date : 14 Dec 2009
The first and finest Butler hotel in the Philippines officially welcomed the Holiday Season with intimate cocktails attended by valued clients, friends and partners last December 1 at the lobby.
“Tonight, we are not only officially welcoming Christmas. As we light our tree, we are also sharing with you something close to our hearts. We believe that everything we use, consume and discard has an environmental impact, and so we celebrate the most wonderful time of the year with the theme “Save the Earth, live green”. We invite you to admire the lush display of recycled trees and ornaments made of recycled newspapers, magazines and tin cans. This Season marks and signifies our hotel’s green initiatives – a first among many”, Richard Masselin, General Manager shared.
Hosted by Marketing Communications Manager, Kathy Manuel, the program kicked off with a welcome message from Richard Masselin. Mayor Alfredo Lim, guest of honor, also gave an inspiring message. The Butler Chorale, the hotel’s very own singing ambassadors delighted guests with popular Christmas carols. Guests were treated with sumptuous cocktails, superb wine from the Philippine Wine Merchants and went home with fruit cakes and the Pan Pacific Manila 2010 Calendar – another green initiative where the twelve months of the year talk about little things that each can do to help save Mother Earth.
