Suzhou, 18 March, 2011 – Pan Pacific Suzhou has been honored with 2011 China Hotel Starlight
Awards for “TOP 10 Resort Hotels of China”. In addition, the hotel’s General Manager Luc Bollen is also awarded “Best General Manager of China”.

Pan Pacific Suzhou’s iconic design, well-retained historic features and luxury facilities were highly praised by the judges. The award committee also voted Luc Bollen, General Manager of Pan Pacific Suzhou as winner of “Best General Manager of China” category, in recognition of his rich working experience, talent development and commercial achievements in China’s hospitality industry as well as his continuous contribution to local communities and charities. This is also the second time Bollen gets recognition of the “China Hotel Starlight Awards”, being awarded in 2007 as “Top 10 Foreign Managers”.

Widely recognized as the “Oscars” of China’s hotel industry, “China Hotel Starlight Awards” are to recognize the great achievements of those excellent hotels and hoteliers and is one of the most influential annual hotel awards among the Chinese consumers. The Award-winners are decided by the consensus of a group of shrewd and seasoned hotel experts and appraisals of the Advisory Committee of Asia Hotel Forum, recommendations and nominations from members of the industry and online voting.
