Explore Whistler Resort

This is the heart of the action. Your gateway to the best in year-round recreation for the entire family. Besides all the activities, guests are invited to explore Whistler at their leisure and take in some of the resort points of interest.

Alpha Lake Park at Whistler Creekside offers a beach, volleyball, tennis, children's playground, picnic tables and charcoal barbecues. An off-leash dog park is available, times - before 10am and after 8pm in the main park and all day in designated dog area.

Emerald Park is located north of the village to the left of Emerald Estates, offers tennis.

Green Lake Park is a picnic area located north of the village and to the right at Emerald Estates.

Lakeside Park in Alta Vista on Alta Lake, south of the village. The park offers a beach, picnic area, canoe and windsurfing rentals and is easily accessible by Valley Trail. Canine Cove is a sandy beach spot available all day and night for pooches.

Lost Lake Park is located at the top of the Blackcomb Benchlands and features a beach, dog beach and picnic area, along with hiking and biking trails. Lost Lake is also home to Whistler's extensive cross country ski trails.

Meadow Park is located in Alpine Meadows, offers water park for families, children's playground, tennis and softball. Off-leash times are before 10am and after 8pm in the main park.

Rainbow Park is a heritage park on the west side of Alta Lake. It offers a beach, picnic area, volleyball and windsurfing launch. This park features a dog-specific beach called Barking Bay. Off-leash times - before 10am and after 8pm in the main park and all day in designated dog area.

Wayside Park is located south of Whistler Village on the right hand side of the highway. Enjoy a quiet and relaxing afternoon with few crowds at this lagoon style park. Great family destination.

Valley Trail is a paved walkway and cycle path, this extensive trail covers the valley of Whistler. All of the lakes and golf courses lie in the path of this beautiful stroll.

Whistler Museum and Archives is located in the Village North, the Museum is operated wholly by volunteers. The opening hours fluctuate according to the season.

Whistler Library is located in the Village North. Children's story time and book loans are available.

Whistler Activity and Information Centre Bookings and information can be obtained for all activities from hiking and snowshoeing to heli-skiing.

Meadow Park Sports Centre This facility offers activities for the whole family: public swimming (kids pool, 25 metre pool, hot tub, sauna, steam room), swimming lessons, squash courts, weight room, scheduled fitness classes and indoor ice skating.

Galleries Adele-Campbell, Black Tusk Galleries, Plaza Galleries, Mountain Craft Galleries, and Northwest Connection for a taste of local art.
