Pan Pacific Singapore appoints Sumanth Das as Culinary Director

Singapore, 12 June 2013 – Pan Pacific Singapore is pleased to announce the appointment of Mr Sumanth Das as Culinary Director.
Previously the Executive Chef at the Four Seasons Jakarta, Sumanth’s main responsibilities included overseeing the culinary operations for the hotel’s restaurants and catering operations. With 16 years of experience in the hospitality industry, Sumanth has spent most of his career working with Four Seasons Hotels and Resorts around the world, in locations as far flung as the Seychelles, the Maldives, Nayarit (Mexico) and Paris.
In his capacity as Culinary Director, Sumanth will be involved in the strategic planning and implementation of innovative culinary concepts. He will be responsible for menu creation, maintaining high international standards of hygiene in our kitchens, and for hiring, coaching and developing the hotel’s culinary talent.

When he’s not at work, Sumanth loves spending time with his wife, and savouring his own cooking while enjoying a glass of wine or two and listening to music.
